Beautiful little fish from Celebes Island,
Indonesia. Like all rainbowfish, Males are more colourful than females. It is
easily distinguish by the elongated second dorsal fins and also anal fins in
male. Due to ornamental fish business and pollution, their numbers have
dramatically reduced. They listed as 'vulnerable' on the IUCNRedlist of
threatened species. Thankfully, it is now being mass-produced on fish farms
meaning that fewer wild caught specimens are available as a result.
