Blackghost can swim forwards, backwards, sideways, upside-down and pretty much any other angle - fascinating to watch. It is the most popular knifefish in Indonesia and mostly sold as juvenile (50 milimetres long). This fish grow large, up to half metre long, and aggressive species especially with other black-ghost. It has a weak electric organ near the caudal peducle which it uses to locate food.
