Green Neon Tetra is not bred on a commercial basis and is thus less common and usually more expensive than other Neon. Green Neon differing in possessing a greener lateral stripe which covers more of the eye or head and extends to the caudal-fin base, a lesser amount of relatively duller red pigmentation, and smaller in size. It’s sometimes traded as ‘false neon tetra’ or ‘blue neon tetra’.
